Type of Information Collected by Handy
Handy collects information that you provide to us when you sign up for the Program or when you register or log in to the Site and use any of the Handy Services it may now or hereafter provide. We receive and store information you enter on the Site or give to us in any other way, including any application you may make for the Program. Personal information that we collect may include, but is not limited to, your name, date of birth, phone number, email address and home and business postal addresses, and if you purchase Handy Services, your credit card or other billing information. Personal information may also include information you supply to us concerning your preferences and interests expressed in the course of your use of the System.
The Use of Your Personal Information
Personal information that is collected by Handy is used to improve the Handy Services provided to you. It is used to communicate with you to enhance your customer relationship and to provide you with information concerning products or services that may be of interest to you offered by Handy or third parties. Handy may also use the personal information you provide to deliver any Handy Services you may have ordered or to determine your eligibility and deliver prizes relating to any promotions or sweepstakes Handy may offer from time to time. In addition, Handy may use provided personal information to analyze and perform research on your preferences and interest in our products and services, as well as products and services offered by third parties. Finally, Handy reserves the right to use any personal information provided in a manner communicated to you at the time you provide it and to otherwise facilitate the operation of the Handy Services.
The Sharing of Information and Disclosure
We will not sell your information to third parties for any reason. We do not disclose your personal information to unaffiliated third parties who may want to offer you their own products and services unless you have requested or authorized us to do so.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may share your personal information with third parties and/or affiliates of Handy with whom we have contracted to perform services on our behalf, including FIS Global, which administers the promotions or sweepstakes we may offer from time to time. All companies that act on our behalf are contractually obligated to keep the personal information we provide to them confidential and to use the personal information we share only to provide the services we ask them to perform.
We may disclose your information if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request; to protect the safety of any person; to address fraud, security or technical issues; or to protect Handy’s rights or property.
Handy is extremely concerned with the safeguarding of your information. We employ reasonable measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. Handy cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. In the event of a breach of confidentiality or security of your personal information, we will make any legally required notifications to you as necessary so you can take appropriate protective steps. Unless you indicate otherwise, we may notify you under such circumstances using the email address you provided to us when you registered on the Site or applied for the Program.
Our Policy Towards Children
Our System is not directed to people under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you become aware that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at 813-621-6411 or firstname.lastname@example.org immediately. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to remove such information and terminate that account from our files.
